Djent is a genre beamed down by the trollololol-overlords themselves. Djent is a super fresh and hot metal(ish) musicial pseudogenre.

How to make djent music:
Guitarist.
The guitarist play crucial role in the djent sound. Using the proper guitars equiped with the proper gear is an absolute must! Guitarist must play Extended range guitars(ERG), starting with at least 7 string. The more strings, the more djent. The guitar’s scale length must be at least twice a large as the speed of sound. Best is for guitarist to equiped the nut with a wet sock and use green tea coated strings for strings. To acquire maxium djent one must use a duck to strum the strings.
Bass player.
Some rules aply… A bass-player also should be able to slap da shits out of teh bazz and achieve Maxium Twang!
Drum/percusion.
The drummer must be able to play in pi/8 timesignature. Also it is best to have a pineapple with piezepickup in to create that special tone.
